Michael Wendt Joins CTS as VP of Professional Services

BROOKLYN, NY — CTS, an IT and Cybersecurity Solutions Provider dedicated to helping K-12 schools, nonprofits, and businesses thrive through smart, secure and cost-effective technology, has grown its leadership team by naming Michael Wendt Vice President of Professional Services. 

Wendt is a results-oriented technology leader with a career defined by helping Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and their clients realize significant business value through IT. 

Before joining CTS, Michael spent 13 years at Dataprise in roles of increasing responsibility, culminating as the Vice President of Professional Services. He played a pivotal role in scaling the company’s professional services practice, launching its Project Management Office (PMO), and steering the division through significant growth. Known for his expertise in organizational transformation, Michael guided his team through a private equity acquisition and the successful integration of multiple MSPs. He is deeply committed to building high-performing, results-driven teams and cultivating a culture of engagement and excellence.

At CTS, Michael will lead the PMO and Project Engineering teams, with a focus on strengthening talent, refining processes, and implementing the tools needed to drive the company’s next phase of growth.

Michael earned a Master of Science in Management of Information Technology from the University of Virginia. He resides in Washington, D.C. and is deeply committed to his community. He serves as a volunteer firefighter, EMT, and Chief of a volunteer fire department in Northern Virginia and sits on the Fairfax County Volunteer Fire Commission.
